Morning everyone. Passing along a message from the City this morning. They have encountered a glitch in their system for those who have 10 visit pass/LAP pass card along with thier club cards. Until further notice DO NOT swipe into club practices until this is resolved. They can continue to use their 10 visit pass outside of regular practices. Also, if you have not picked up your club pass cards, please see the front desk at the Aquatic Centre. Cheers, Jason

Morning everyone. Some information to pass on regarding the upcoming swim meet this weekend; including practice cancellations. Practices for all groups on Friday and Saturday are cancelled. Monday morning practices for Elite and Y/N are also cancelled. Jerzy and I will be setting up for the meet starting at noon on Friday. If you are able to help out that would be greatly appreciated. We are looking for four or five people. For those of you who are new to attending swim meets and have any questions after reading this email, let me know. Under the Parents tab on the website is a very good "What To Do' list at a swim meet. Our club will be situated at the deep end of the pool. Barracuda t-shirt and caps are mandatory for the weekend. If you are in need of an extra cap, speak with Kris Lewington equipment@pgbsc.org. If you are in need of an extra set of goggles either Stride and Glide or the store at the Aquatic Centre can help you. Remember you get a discount with your card at Stride and Glide! It is also wise to bring a hoodie or sweater plus track pants or shorts as well as sandals. Warm up and start times. Please be on deck 20 minutes prior to the beginning of warm ups Friday warm ups 4:30-5:30pm Racing starts at 5:40pm to approx 7:30pm Saturday warm ups 8:00-9:00am Racing starts at 9:10am to approx 3pm Sunday warm ups 8:00-9:00am Racing starts at 9:10am to approx 2:30pm Awards 1:40pm - 2:00pm approx Again, if you have any questions, let me know. REMINDER The Prince George Barracudas Swim Club will hold its Annual General Meeting Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 6:00 pm in the Northwood Room at the Prince George Aquatic Centre. All members are invited and encouraged to attend. The PGBSC will call for a vote by special resolution to approve the PGBSC Constitution and Bylaws. The Constitution and Bylaws can be found on the Club website under the "Club" tab. Members are encourage to review the Constitution and Bylaws prior to the AGM. The PGBSC board of directors wishes to inform the membership of the following positions and slate of candidates up for election to the PGBSC board of directors at the 2018 AGM: President: Vacant Vice-President: Vacant Secretary: Vacant Treasurer: Sheila Nelson Fundraising Director: Vacant Nominations for all Directors positions listed above, may be made in writing to the Secretary (email: secretary@pgbsc.org) by any two Voting Members with the consent of the nominee. Nominations will be called from the floor prior to the elections at the AGM.
