Dear Barracuda Families, The Fall Banquet is this Saturday! The Coast Inn of the North needs to know how many people are attending so that they can prepare for us. I will be at the pool tonight from 6:15 - 7:30. I need to let them know tonight how many are attending so please buy tickets tonight if you haven't already. You cannot show up on the day of the banquet and expect to buy a ticket then. THIS IS THE LAST CHANCE! If you miss me tonight, you can purchase tickets on line. Please buy them TODAY. Here is how: · On the Barracuda web site, go to the events page · select fall banquet · click register online, then continue through the registration page · put a check next to your swim members' names · when you click on "Register to this group" it will say "Awards Banquet" · Click "continue" · Under Registration Fees it will list your swimmers and have a box for the total number of tickets you wish to purchase (include other family members in this total) · Click Submit Registration We hope to see you there! Dear Barracuda families, How to pay on line for the PGBSC Fall Banquet: On the Barracuda web site, go to the events page select fall banquet click register online, then continue through the registration page put a check next to your swim members' names when you click on "Register to this group" it will say "Awards Banquet" Click "continue" Under Registration Fees it will list your swimmers and have a box for the total number of tickets you wish to purchase (include other family members in this total) Click Submit Registration I will also be at the pool selling tickets at the following times this week: Monday Oct. 29 from 4:30 – 5:30 Tuesday Oct. 30 6:30- 7:30 Thursday Nov. 1 from 6:30 – 7:30 Friday Nov. 2 from 4:30 – 5:30 - THE LAST DAY TO BUY TICKETS! Dear Barracuda Families, The PGBSC Annual Fall Banquet is NEAR and all Barracuda families are welcome! Where: Coast Inn of the North When: Saturday Nov. 3 Time: Doors open at 4 pm. Dinner will be served at 5 pm. Cost: $20 per person. This is a fun family event! The evening includes dinner, an awards presentation, silent auction, DJ music and dance, photo booth, and door prizes. A cash bar will be available. I will be at the pool selling tickets on the following days: SATURDAY OCTOBER 27 DURING THE TIME TRIAL Monday Oct. 29 from 4:30 – 5:30 Tuesday Oct. 30 6:30- 7:30 Thursday Nov. 1 from 6:30 – 7:30 Friday Nov. 2 from 4:30 – 5:30 I hope to see you all there and if you have any questions please contact me. NOTICE: PRINCE GEORGE BARRACUDA SWIM CLUB ADOPTION OF CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS UNDER THE BC SOCIETIES ACT The New BC Societies Act came into effect November 28, 2016 and governs how societies (not-for-profit corporations) are created and run in BC. To comply with this Act, the Prince George Barracudas Swim Club must file its constitution and amended bylaws with the government by November 28, 2018. The Club has posted the proposed constitution and bylaws on the Club website for membership review. These are located on the PGBSC website under the "Club" tab on the homepage under the subheading "Constitution and Bylaws", or by clicking on the hyperlink below: https://www.teamunify.com/canpgb/UserFiles/File/PGBSC%20Constitution%20and%20Bylaws.pdf The Prince George Barracudas Swim Club will call for a special resolution to adopt the proposed constitution and bylaws at the Annual General Meeting on November 14, 2018 at 6:00 pm in the Northwood Room at the Prince George Aquatic Centre. The Club encourages all members to review the constitution and bylaws prior to the AGM.

NOTICE: PRINCE GEORGE BARRACUDA SWIM CLUB ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The Prince George Barracudas Swim Club will hold its Annual General Meeting Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 6:00 pm in the Northwood Room at the Prince George Aquatic Centre. All members are invited and encouraged to attend. The PGBSC board of directors wishes to inform the membership of the following positions and slate of candidates up for election to the PGBSC board of directors at the 2018 AGM: President: Vacant Vice-President: Vacant Secretary: Vacant Treasurer: Sheila Nelson Fundraising Director: Vacant Nominations for all Directors positions listed above, may be made in writing to the Secretary (email: secretary@pgbsc.org) by any two Voting Members with the consent of the nominee. Nominations will be called from the floor prior to the elections at the AGM.
