Hi everyone, Hope you're settling into the schedule now that we have moved to the Aquatic Centre for the remainder of the season. I have a number of items to pass onto you today. 1. Everyone (with the exception of the Masters program) will have received an email from Swim Canada today. There is a link in the email for you to click on which will take you to the Swim Canada website. It will ask you to double check to make sure your information is correct. If any information needs to be changed, do so. Then click the confirm button. This has to be done so everyone is insured while they are at practice. This has to be done immediately! If you did not receive this email, check your spam folder. Practice Cancellations 1. Thanksgiving Monday October 14 practices for all groups are cancelled. 2. The club is travelling to Prince Rupert October 18-20. Therefore practices for all groups, except the Swim School, D3, D2C and Masters programs will be cancelled, Friday October 18 and Saturday October 19. As well as Monday morning October 21. Those in the Elite and Youth groups who are not travelling to Prince Rupert will be given practices by Jason and Jerzy. If you have any questions, let me know. Cheers, Jason

PGBSC Families: The City of PG has a swipe card system in place to track the number of participants using their aquatic facilities. For safety reasons the pool staff needs to know the number of people in the pool at any given time, and have the contact information for families in the case of an emergency. This is mandatory, and your swimmer will need to be registered with the pool in order to receive their swipe card. One the cards have been issued each swimmer will be asked to swipe in and out each time they enter the pool. For privacy reasons the PGBSC is unable to give out personal information, therefore it is the responsibility of each family to register their swimmer directly with the pool front desk staff and pick up their swipe cards. Returning swimmers: Stop by the front desk at the Aquatic Centre to re-activate your swipe card. New swimmers: Register at the front desk of the Aquatic Centre to receive your card. Masters swimmers will also need to follow these protocols. If you have any questions please direct them to the Aquatic Centre front desk staff. Thank you for your cooperation. PGBSC
