Good morning! In yesterdays email that was sent out about the Christmas practice schedule, the return to swimming date was Monday January 3rd. That is incorrect. The return to swim date is Tuesday January 4th. Swim school will return on Friday January 7th. Masters, you have practice on Monday January 3rd. Cheers, Jason

Hi everyone, A reminder that this coming Friday (December 17) and Saturday (December 18) will be the last practices for everyone before we stop for the holidays. Practices will resume Monday January 3, 2022. Swim School will resume Friday January 7, 2022. Everyone, except the Masters group that is. They are the lucky ones! Regular schedule throughout the holidays except Saturday December 25 and Saturday January 1. No practices those days. Happy Holidays! The club has finished its first day of competition here in Kamloops. A good day overall.

Prelims begin at 9am tomorrow and Sunday. Finals begin at 4pm tomorrow and approx 3pm on Sunday.

To my fellow Swimmers and Parents, I hope this message finds everyone well and you are enjoying our fall in Northern British Columbia. The Aquatic Center is busy with the enthusiasm of swim practice and the anticipation of competition in the upcoming season. The Barracuda Executive has always strived to ensure the safest environment for our swimmers to enjoy the sport. With the dramatic rise in Covid 19 cases in Northern British Columbia, it has been decided, by the executive, that the November swim meet will be cancelled due to the current viral status in our local area. It is not prudent or responsible for the Barracudas to hold a swimming event in these times with the current viral situation and recent Regional Provincial Health Orders. It is our hope to facilitate time trials in the coming few months at a time that is appropriate. We know that this cancelation is difficult but it is most certainly the most prudent and responsible coarse of action. Thank you for your understanding. Regards Kerim M Ozcan President PGBSC

Equipment Kids in D2AB, D1, Fitness/Development, Elite and Youth/National must bring their mesh bag and equipment to the pool on their first day of practice. Those in Masters, please do the same. Dryland Shorts/track pants and t-shirts. If you want to wear shoes, they must be for indoor use only. Use of the Hot tub At this time, only those registered in Masters can use the hot tub before or after practice.
