| Barracuda Families: I hope everyone had a wonderful summer, and the air quality isn't causing too many problems. It's hard to believe that the swim season is just around the corner. I just wanted to give everyone some information on the 2018-2019 registration process. As in previous years all registrations will be done online, and this must be completed before your child can start swimming. Online registration will open to returning swimmers tomorrow, Thursday August 23rd. At that time we welcome you to log into your account and register your child for the upcoming swim season. You should have received an email in June with the group your child will be in for the 2018-2019 season. In addition please take a few minutes to update all your personal information, including credit card numbers, expiry dates, as well as cell phone numbers and email addresses. It is very important that we have accurate contact information address for families. During the registration process you will be asked to choose if you would like your payments to be charged monthly, semi-annually or annually. Please ensure the correct drop down box is selected, the system will default to annual payments if nothing is chosen, which will create problems on October 1s t whenfees are collected. We will be holding both new and returning member registration on Thursday September 6th at the Four Seasons Pool from 5:00-7:00 pm. At this time we will need you to provide the payment confirmation email/invoice that you received after your child was successfully registered that confirms for me that all Swim BC and Registration fees have been paid, as well as pick up your t-shirt and cap from Kris. All registration fees and any outstanding balances must be paid before your child can start swimming. If you wish to pay your fees with cheques you will need to provide these at registration, along with post-dated cheques for the remaining club fees. The cheque for registration fees will be processed immediately and club fees will start October 1st. Please date the 10 cheques for the first of each month from October to June if you wish to pay monthly. October 1st and January 1st for semi-annual payments and October 1st for annual fees. The fee schedule is on the website, along with the 2018-2019 practice calendars. If you don't pick up your shirt and cap on September 6th, it will be your responsibility to make arrangements with Kris Lewington to get it at a later date. We are trying to streamline the registration process and make it easier for everyone. Practices start on Friday September 7th at the Four Season's Pool, please check the schedule to see when your group swims. The first session of Swim School starts on October 15th and Master's start on Wednesday October 10th at the Aquatic Centre. If anyone would like to help out on registration night, I would love some volunteers, please email me if you would be able to help out for a couple of hours on September 6th.
