| To my fellow Swimmers and Parents, I hope this message finds everyone well and you are enjoying our fall in Northern British Columbia. The Aquatic Center is busy with the enthusiasm of swim practice and the anticipation of competition in the upcoming season. The Barracuda Executive has always strived to ensure the safest environment for our swimmers to enjoy the sport. With the dramatic rise in Covid 19 cases in Northern British Columbia, it has been decided, by the executive, that the November swim meet will be cancelled due to the current viral status in our local area. It is not prudent or responsible for the Barracudas to hold a swimming event in these times with the current viral situation and recent Regional Provincial Health Orders. It is our hope to facilitate time trials in the coming few months at a time that is appropriate.
