284 [PGBSC Blog] officials needed for BC AA LC Championships in Victoria

Folks,  I wanted to pass along this opportunity for Officials to learn away from our own pool in the Commonwealth Pool in Victoria.  This is the best pool set up in BC and a great club to work with.  I always offer up my time for them because they are great hosts and I have been lucky enough to be the recipient of past prize draws and the heat sheets are a big savings.  Nice perks for a little volunteer time.  Please read below.

As you may know, PCS will be hosting the BC AA LC Championships in Victoria on June 22-24, 2012. It is often difficult to find officials for meets at this time of the year and this meet is no exception.  Any help you might be able to provide in linking us to your parent volunteers would be greatly appreciated.  In exchange, we offer on-pool access to the swimmers, free heat sheets for the entire meet, volunteer prize draws, great company, and our unending gratitude. This is a good meet for new stroke and turn and other officials to gain some experience at.

The days and times of the sessions are as follows:

Friday, June 22nd:

Heats - 8 am warm-up, 9 am start

Finals - 4 pm warm-up, 5 pm start

Saturday, June 23rd:

Heats - 8 am warm-up, 9 am start

Finals - 4 pm warm-up, 5 pm start

Sunday, June 24th:

Heats - 8 am warm-up, 9 am start

Finals - ~3:30 pm warm-up, ~4:30 pm start

Officials meetings will take place in the lower lobby area 1/2 hour before the start of each session.
