Hello Barracuda Families! Please see below for PGBSC news.

 

1.   We are looking for volunteers to host the Prince George Barracuda booth at the Active Living Market this weekend (7th and 8th March 2015). All the  information/handouts  will be available at the booth. Swimmers are welcome to help, however, an adult should be present.

The shifts are:

 

SATURDAY                                  10:30 AM-1:00 PM                    

                                                      1:00 PM-3:30 PM                         

                                                    3:30 PM-5:00 PM                            

 

SUNDAY                                   11:00 PM-2:00 PM                         

                                                     2:00 PM-5:00 PM

2.   Purdys Chocolate Easter catalogues are being handed out at the pool this week.  

 

Purdy’s has two options for ordering:

1)    Submit your order forms directly to me with attached cheque(s) made out to PGBSC for the total amount of your order(s). If you are submitting multiple orders please use separate forms for each person ordering and include both your name, and the name of the person who ordered from you, with the information on the form.

 

2)    You may use Purdy’s easy online ordering feature by registering a new member account at http://www.purdysgpp.com Our group number is 19110. Once registered, you should be directed to the Prince George Barracuda Swim Club – EASTER 2015 Group Home Page. From there you will be able to invite your family, friends, shop online, and pay for your orders.

 

 

The order deadline is 16 March 2015.  The expected delivery date is 25 March 2015.

Hi everyone
Because of spring break and the Canada Winter Games the Aquatic Center will be closed from Feb 19 until March 2. We will be swimming at the Four Seasons leisure pool during this time. Because of that we have limited pool space, and the schedule will therefore be different than usual.
For the first week of spring break (Feb. 16-21) the following groups will not be having practice- dev. III, dev. IIC, dev. IIAB, dev I, and fitness developmental.
Elite, National, and Youth will have practice for the first and second week of spring break as preparation for BC Provincial Championships and for Western National Championships. All the developmental groups will swim the second week of spring break, starting on Monday Feb. 23. The masters program will swim regular schedule. We are coming back to the Aquatic Center on Tuesday March 3.

Practice schedule will be posted at the Aquatic Centre Bulletin Board.

As mentioned above, our pool space is limited so the schedule is slightly reduced. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Notice to all the Families:

During spring break the swimming schedule will follow: 

On Monday 16, Tuesday 17, Wednesday 18 ; Youth National and Elite and Masters Swimmers will be at Aquatic Centre for practice. 

On Thursday 19,  Friday 20, Saturday 21; Youth National and Elite and Masters Swimmers will report for practice at the four seasons pool. 

From  February 23 thru 28 swimming will be at four seasons pool, for all developmental groups.

On March 02, all developmental groups will go back to Aquatic Centre.
