Purdy’s Christmas orders are ready for pick-up.  I will be at the pool:

388 [PGBSC Blog] Xmas TT

Hi all.

 

As the Xmas time trial is this coming Saturday, dryland for D1 and D2AB is cancelled.

 

D2AB practice is cancelled.

 

D1 will practice 930-11am

 

Youth/National and Elite will have regular scheduled practice.

 

All kids participating in the Xmas time trial this Saturday are to arrive at the pool by 9am.

 

Warm ups on deck will begin at 9:15am

 

Warm ups in the water will run 9:30-9:50am in the shallow end pool

 

The time trial will run 10 to 11am in the deep end pool.

386 [PGBSC Blog] 2013 Edmonton Blue Bears Invitational

Hi all.

 

The sign-up list for the Edmonton Blue Bears Invitational Meet ( Jan.18-20) is up on the bulletin board. 

 

We will be swimming Friday, Saturday and Sunday events. 

 

The deadline for sign-up as Friday, Dec. 21.

 

This meet is open for all  groups. 

 

All swimmers need a  200 IM or 400 Free Time Standard to enter this meet

 

The PB for all swimmers in 200IM and 400 Free are posted on the bulletin board

 

Those travelling with the club will be leaving Thursday, Jan. 17 @ 9:30 am and returning Monday, Jan. 21 @ 4:00 - 4:30 pm

Hi Everyone

Saturday is the Christmas mini meet. We will need parents to help time, marshal and pass out ribbons. This mini meet is fun for all and easy, if there is a lot of volunteers.

Don't worry if you can't work a watch we will teach you before the meet starts.

384 [PGBSC Blog] PRINCE GEORGE BARRACUDAS ANNUAL HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE

As in previous  years, we will be holding a holiday food drive this year on Saturday, December 8th. This is the same weekend as the Christmas time trial for some swimmers. We are asking each swimmer to bring in their donation bag on Saturday morning. Donations may include any non perishable food items, hygiene products, etc. Each swimmer who brings in a donation will be entered in a draw to win a gift card, and the group (youth/national, elite, D1, D2A/B etc.) who brings in the most donations will also win a group prize. All donations collected will be given to our local Salvation Army Food Bank.
