Blog Emails Reset

Hello Parents and Swimmers…

 

Each year around this time of the year, we clean up the blog email address.  Therefore there is a possibility that you will lose your email subscription to the PGBSC Blog.  The new email list is based on emails received at registration. 

 

However no fail…, you can provide us your email by simple going to www.PGBSC.org and provide your email address in the Subscribe to PGBSC blog box.  You will be add to the blog and from that point forward you will receive blog emails.

Regional Kick Off Swim Meet, Prince Rupert

The Regional Kick Off Swim Meet, in Prince Rupert is scheduled for 21 October to 23 October 2011 sign-up sheet is available at the Pool.  See Marilyn King for details.

For those that want to get an early start and travel to Prince Rupert on Thurs., 20 October 2011 we have a block of rooms booked in Smithers at the Hudson Bay Lodge.  2 queen beds, $75 / night.  Please mention Prince George Barracuda Swim Club when booking rooms.  The rooms will be released on the 13 October, so book early

We are changing the date of our awards night from October 8 (Thanksgiving Weekend) as most families will be away. It is now on Sunday Oct 30 as this was the only date we could get. Anna has already changed this date.

Interac Online - a great NEW way to pay for your FundScrip Orders

 

In an effort to make our program even better and help you encourage more participation from your supporters,  we are excited to announce we have a new payment option that will be available to your supporters in the coming days.   This new options is INTERAC® Online!   Just like paying for in-store purchases with your debit card, you can now pay for FundScrip orders with your debit card online using INTERAC® Online. It uses your financial institution's online banking website; so it's safe and easy.   When paying with INTERAC® Online, as the final step in the checkout process you will be redirected to your online banking website where you simply confirm the purchase amount; select your account; and enter your debit card number & password; and then click submit, after which you'll be taken back to the FundScrip website for payment confirmation. That's it! The funds are withdrawn from your account immediately, and there's no need to provide FundScrip with any banking information. Please note that earnings will be reduced by $0.85 cents each time you use this payment option.   At present, this service can only be used by online banking customers of the following financial institutions': Royal Bank Toronto Dominion Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank) BMO Bank of Montreal As other financial institutions opt to participate in INTERAC® Online, they will be added to our list.   If you have any questions about this new feature, please contact your FundScrip fundraising coach or via the AdminCare online form. Swim Schedules

Hello Swimmer and Parents…

 

The practices swim schedules have been posted to the PGBSC website.  Please find then at www.pgbsc.org. 

 

Like last year, we have included them in Google calendar format, as well as printable format.  If you have a Google Calendar capable phone like an IPhone, Blackberry, or Android phone, you can link the club calendars to your phone or Gmail account.  This will allow you to receive any changes as they happen.
