Awards Banquet Ticket Sales

As you may be aware - the awards banquet has been scheduled for Saturday, October 8th, 2011 at the Coast Inn. In previous years, the awards banquet has been scheduled for the 2nd or 3rd week of November. As the banquet is very early this season - there will not be a lot of opportunity to sell tickets during pool/practice times. If you are planning to attend the awards banquet, please be prepared to purchase your tickets on registration night.

Twitter and Facebook

Are you a twitter or do you Facebook often. The club has a Facebook and twitter account and we are looking for a group of parents or swimmers that would like to update the account with the happenings of the club. A couple of example are, At swim meets tweet the number of swimmers making finals, or some has a special accomplishment, let's get it on Facebook.

It would be best if we had a group of people that can tweet or Facebook. This way not everyone has to be at all events.

Please note that on the registration form it is asking for the swimmers age (as of Dec 31, 2012).  It should be as of 2011

Volunteer for slide show - October 8th Awards Banquet

As you may be aware, our 2011 Awards Banquet is set for Saturday, October 8^th at the Coast Inn.  Every year – we have a slide show, that captures the swimmers, coaches & parents at meets, practices, yearend BBQ, etc.  A wide variety of photos creates a great slide show.

 

We are looking for a volunteer who will go out to the club members, collect photos and create the slide show. You will need your own LCD/SVGA projector and laptop. (The webmaster, Andy Godden can provide a LCD projector and laptop for the Banquet if required)

 

Please let me know if you are interested as soon as possible.

The Prince George Barracuda Swim Club Registration Package is now available on the PGBSC website.  Please download the files required to register your swimmer from the Club’s website at http://www.pgbsc.org/registration.

 

Please remember; that registration night will be held at the Civic Center on Sept 8th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
